Serving God Together in Faith and Fellowship
It has been my joy and honor to serve God alongside the vibrant congregation of the Methodist Tamil Church – Nigdi for several years. As a unit of the Mumbai Regional Conference of the Methodist Church in India, we draw inspiration from the early church. With a history spanning over twenty-five years, our church continues to be a bridge between God and His people. Our ministry is focused on "resounding the vision of our Master by making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. We do this by proclaiming the good news of God’s grace and exemplifying Jesus’ command to love God and our neighbors."
Place Of Heaven
The year 2018 marked the Silver Jubilee of our church, which began humbly in 1993 with just seven families. As Psalm 23:6 declares, “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life,” we have indeed experienced God’s continued grace and have grown by leaps and bounds. Today, we are blessed with 80 families on our roll.
Vision for the Future
At this moment of fulfillment and thanksgiving, my prayer is that the Good Lord will enable us to exhibit the marks of genuineness as a faith community and demonstrate continued vibrancy in fulfilling the Great Commission:
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations... and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.” — Matthew 28:19–20
